Heathrow has four passenger terminals: 2, 3, 4 and 5. Going to the wrong one is one of the most common ways travellers lose time before a flight.
How to find your terminal
- Check your booking confirmation or e-ticket. The terminal is usually printed on it.
- Check your airline’s website or app, or the airport’s live flight information page.
- Terminals can change, so check again 24 hours before you travel.
Getting dropped off
Tell your driver the terminal number, not just “Heathrow”. Drivers can pull up at the departures area closest to your check-in desk, which saves you carrying luggage between terminals.
Getting picked up
Arrivals can take a while after landing because of passport control and baggage reclaim. If you’ve booked with us, we monitor your flight, so your driver knows if you land early or late. Meet your driver at the agreed meeting point, or ask for meet and greet when you book.
If you end up at the wrong terminal
Free transfers run between terminals, but this adds time. Allow extra if you need to switch.
